We opened our doors because we saw a better way to work. We came from big, traditional agencies where teams were segmented and siloed. That meant spending more time in meetings talking about projects, less time actually developing smart, strategic creative. We built Grit with a purposefully flat hierarchy because great ideas come from anywhere.

Sure, we strategize, concept, produce, shoot, and edit all in-house. But that doesn’t really tell you what it’s like to work with us. We have been known to build landscapes out of miniatures just for the fun of it. We have figured out how to make a 6-pack carton turn into headphones and a boombox using just folded paper. You can often find us at the public library scanning archival images to create the perfect stop-motion animation. We have thrifted vintage ashtrays, built enormous cannons, dropped beers from drones, and spray painted our studio all in order to get videos just right. And if that is what we do for the visuals, you can imagine our approach to voice, tone, script, and music.
